Thanks to its compact dimensions, almost any bathroom can be equipped with a small bathtub.
The category of small bathtubs also includes space-saving bathtubs. Here the name is the range. They are characterized by a distinctive trapezoidal shape: wide at the back and narrow at the feet. This means that the bathtub takes up as little space as possible. The unique shape of space-saving bathtubs gives you more freedom of movement in the bathroom and is also a real design highlight.

Size
There is no clear-cut definition of what size constitutes a small bathtub. Based on the standard German dimensions of 170x75 cm and 180x80 cm, a bathtub measuring 160 cm or less can be considered small. Our smallest model in the Duravit range, for example, has a length of 140 cm. Thanks to its smaller footprint, the small bathtub fits perfectly into small niches.
Material
Small bathtubs can be made from either mineral cast or acrylic. Both materials have proven themselves equally well in bathrooms. The choice ultimately depends on your personal preferences. The materials are appealing to the touch and offer great design possibilities. However, mineral cast is usually found in larger models.
Installation types
Due to architectural constraints, it may be that only a small bathtub in a corner position is suitable. If you want to install the small bathtub against the wall, you have three options: you can choose a Pre-wall bathtub version, a bathtub with a corner on the left or a corner on the right. You should take this into account during the planning stage. A small freestanding bathtub, such as those from the D-Neo design series, is also possible, although it is rather unusual, as it is not really space-saving despite its compact dimensions.
With whirlpool function
Small bathtubs are also available as Whirlpool bathtubs. The air and water jets relax the muscles and further enhance the wellness factor. They promise relaxation even in small spaces. Bring your spa moments home and treat yourself to some time out.
