Duravit vanities: variations for every taste
When it comes to the composition and installation of Vanities, there are a number of options. For example, the Sink can be placed on the countertop or (partially) recessed into it, creating different aesthetic highlights.

Wall-mounted vanity
A combination of a sink (polished) and a console plate, with an optional vanity unit. A wall-hung vanity can also consist of a sink (unpolished) and a matching base.

Standing vanity
A standing vanity perfectly complements the bathroom ensemble. The decorative pedestal feet have a purely visual, but no supporting function, as Duravit vanities are mounted hanging on the wall.

Built-in vanity
A piece of furniture with a ceramic insert can also be an ideal way to achieve the look of a table. The ceramic is set into the furniture in the built-in vanity, so that the furniture can be seen on either side of the sink, creating a unified whole.

Semi-recessed vanity
This variant is a real eye-catcher. The ceramic protrudes from the vanity console, creating a striking, modern look.

c-bonded vanity
Our patented c-bonded technology ensures that ceramic and furniture form a visually perfect unit. In this elaborate process, all parts are joined together with millimeter precision and virtually seamlessly. This means that only the base is visible from the side, and only the basin is visible from above.

c-shaped vanity
Our vanities with c-shaped technology are as elegant as they are innovative. The components are precisely crafted to create a parallel contour without any protrusions or recesses. The base unit begins exactly where the ceramic outer edge of the sink ends. The ceramic and furniture form a single unit and are only available as a set.

Vanities: design, materials and finishes
Vanities are available in a range of different designs and materials. It's best to choose the design to match the look of the bathroom. The choice of material depends entirely on personal taste and the demands placed on the material. The finishes can also be tailored to individual needs.
Vanity design

When it comes to the vanity, you can choose between different looks. The basic questions here are usually: light or dark? Wood look, matt or high gloss? A vanity in a wood look or a vanity in dark colors looks very good on light tiles. A vanity in black, for example, can set great accents through the contrast. If the furniture part of the vanity is designed in white or light wood tones, it makes the room appear open and friendly. This little trick can achieve a great effect, especially in small bathrooms and in bathrooms without windows.
Vanity materials

In the bathroom, two purely practical aspects are particularly important: hygiene and durability. That is why the most common material for vanities and sinks in particular is ceramic sanitary ware. This material is easy to clean and can therefore always be kept hygienically clean. We have also further developed the ceramic sanitary ware and can now also manufacture many of our basins in DuraCeram®. Duravit's formulation enables high dimensional accuracy and extremely thin-walled basins. Our Duravit bathroom furniture is suitable for use in damp rooms and is therefore optimally protected against high humidity and splashes of water. As a warranty, the furniture has no open edges. Another quality feature is that our bathroom furniture is 100% made in Germany.
Vanitiy finishes

Integrated sinks or countertop sinks
For your bathroom, you have the option of choosing between a vanity with an integrated ceramic sink or a vanity with a countertop sink. This can be chosen according to your needs and taste. The underside of the countertop sink is always sanded so that it can be precisely placed on or recessed into the furniture. A great benefit of this combination is the additional storage space next to the basin on the furniture. Vanities with integrated sinks have the advantage that the finishes are easier to clean because the base and basin fit together perfectly. The countertop sink with vanity unit variant, on the other hand, sets great accents in your bathroom.

Standing or hanging vanity
Wall-mounted vanities look elegant and have the advantage that the floor space below them remains free for cleaning. You can also find standing vanities with feet in our range. This variant, for example, is equipped with a standing metal console, whereby the substructure under the sink is open. A closed vanity base with feet, on the other hand, makes it even easier to maintain a tidy bathroom look.

Double washbasin as a special design
The bathroom is often a very busy place, especially in the morning, and it is not uncommon for someone to have to wait. This is where a double vanity can prove extremely useful. This piece of furniture combines a double sink with a vanity unit. This means that two sinks can be used at the same time, so that no one gets in each other's way during their morning routine. The bathroom furniture double washbasin can be equipped with either a large or two separate basins. This practical solution makes the daily routine of a multi-person household much easier.
