Facts & figures

In the 2024 financial year, the Duravit Group generated global sales of €631.2 million. The currency-adjusted decline of 2.9 percent reflects the ongoing challenges in the international construction and sanitaryware sectors – with noticeable consumer reticence in the key market of China, which is now also evident for the first time. Despite these conditions, Duravit remained stable in the face of international competition.
Certain product categories developed positively: the faucets segment recorded a sales increase of 26.8%, while SensoWash® shower-toilets grew by 3.1%. Declines in markets such as Egypt, China, and Germany were partly offset by positive developments in Poland, Ireland, and South Africa.
Our global workforce played a key role in helping us maintain our position in this demanding market environment. Their dedication secures our capacity to act and to continue evolving.
Strategically, Duravit remains clearly focused on the future. A key milestone is the on-schedule expansion of our new production site in Matane, Canada – the world’s first climate-neutral ceramic production facility. For the first time, an electrically operated ceramic kiln will be used there, powered almost entirely by renewable hydroelectric energy. The site is scheduled to go into operation in the fourth quarter of 2025.
