Riga International Airport

The first phase included the territorial development, the construction of the accesses, the construction of the building, utilities and coating materials. The non-Schengen passenger sector was enlarged, three new arrival zones were designed and bigger transit passengers zones were created to guarantee a better customer service.

The architectural concept and interior design were continued as the previous already used in the airport.The basic guidelines continued – quest for transparency, search for an easy orientation of the airport users and the use of natural and long-lasting materials. The public toilets are fitted with Duravit ceramics from the DuraStyle series.
