Thermostats
Thermostats for each bath
Mounting types of thermostats
When installing shower thermostats and bath thermostats, there is basically the option of either exposed or concealed installation, although the latter depends on the existing connections. Both methods offer different advantages.

Thermostats: Exposed
In the case of surface mounting, the entire faucet with thermostat is on the wall, which is also the classic type of installation. Faucets can be replaced particularly easily here, which is why this type of installation is also a popular solution for renovations. Thanks to the high-quality design of Duravit faucets, surface mounting can also add aesthetic touches.

Thermostats: Concealed
In contrast to surface mounting, concealed mounting creates a minimalist, clean look, as the Bath faucet with thermostat or Shower faucet with thermostat disappears completely into the wall, leaving only the controls visible. This makes it a particularly space-saving installation solution that is also quick and easy to clean.

Shower systems with thermostat
Thermostats for showers are also available as part of a complete shower system. Here, the thermostat is integrated directly into the Shower faucet. Duravit's shower systems are also available with the MinusFlow feature. This further reduces the already low water consumption of all Duravit faucets. Combined with the lower consumption achieved by a shower thermostat, a great deal of water and energy can be saved without any loss of comfort.
The advantages of thermostats

Constant temperature
When comparing thermostats and mixer taps, the thermostat has the advantage that the temperature can be set precisely. In general, thermostats primarily provide a constant temperature, regardless of whether, for example, the water pressure or temperature in the pipe changes when someone in the apartment turns on a tap or flushes the toilet.
When using the thermostat, you are reliably protected from sudden temperature fluctuations. The precise temperature setting and consistency also often results in water savings. Instead of a longer, unused water flow, during which the right temperature has to be found, the water can be used almost immediately when a thermostat is used in the shower or tub.

Great creative freedom
Duravit thermostats can be easily combined with other Duravit faucets and shower heads thanks to their universal design. Both square and round models are available for the in-wall versions.
The different finishes also ensure the greatest possible design freedom. Exposed and concealed solutions as well as complete shower systems are not only available in classic chrome, but also in elegant black matt. Selected models are also available in three other high-quality PVD finishes: brushed stainless steel, brushed bronze and polished gold.
