SILT Hotel
Architecture in harmony
Reference summary
With its funnel-shaped tower and organically flowing architecture, the striking building makes a distinctive statement. Interior design firm TJIP created a unique design that is reflected in every corner of the hotel, right down to the bathrooms. Here, TJIP relies on high-quality sanitary ware from Duravit. "Duravit impressed us with its expertise," says Thomas Meesschaert, founder and interior designer at TJIP. "The team understood our vision and provided us with excellent advice. In addition, Duravit was extremely flexible, which enabled us to order customized versions of the fittings. This human factor makes it a no-brainer for us to work with Duravit again in the future."
minimalist oasis
TJIP masterfully continued the minimalist, elegant look of the entire hotel in the bathrooms as well. The interior designers chose natural materials such as stone, marble and wood, which give the bathrooms a simple yet luxurious look. This combination of high-quality materials creates an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
The sanitaryware from Duravit, including the recyclable shower tray Sustano, products from the Architec, D-Neo, DuraStyle and Vero Air series, and the Circle and Wave tap lines, fit perfectly into this purist design. They emphasize the minimalist concept and round it off in a stylish way, creating a harmonious balance between simplicity and elegance.
Sea view in cream and wood
Each of the 70 luxurious rooms at the SILT Hotel offers a breathtaking view of the wide North Sea. The interior is dominated by warm, neutral tones such as cream, beige and white, subtly contrasted by black accents and natural wood elements, as well as simple organic shapes. The interior design firm TJIP deliberately chose simple, high-quality design elements to emphasize the vastness of the landscape and the calm of the sea.
Timelessly beautiful, sustainably designed
Sustainability plays a central role in the SILT Hotel. The hotel uses Accoya wood for the exterior cladding, which increases the longevity and energy efficiency of the building. This sustainable material develops a special patina over time, reminiscent of the wood in the harbor area. Recycled materials and intelligent energy concepts complement this environmentally friendly design and actively contribute to reducing the carbon footprint.
