Hotel Koenigshof
Through the Ages
Reference summary
For decades a familiar part of the Munich skyline and once a meeting point for artists, businesspeople, and travelers, the venerable Koenigshof hotel can look back over a storied past – as it now reveals its new look. The new building at the historical site combines architectural heritage with contemporary architecture. The neatly structured façade and the open atrium that looks on to the vibrant Stachus square generate a unique atmosphere. Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos developed the architectural concept that draws on the history of the site and integrates modern elements. Clear lines, intelligent material selection, and a harmonized spatial concept define the new aesthetic. The Munich-based firm Landau + Kindelbacher realized the interior design and created a consistent design language by blending warm colors, quality textiles, and artworks.

In the suites, free-standing bathtubs of from the Luv range create unique moments of wellbeing. Their velvety-matt surface made from DuroCast combines a sensual feel with high aesthetic standards and underpins the luxurious ambience of the rooms.
