ABD'nin doğu kıyısında, New England'da bulunan Cape Cod benzersiz bir atmosfere sahiptir. Kilometrelerce uzanan kumsalları, berrak suları ve el değmemiş doğasıyla karakterize edilen bu bölge, Philippe Starck ve Duravit tarafından tasarlanan Duravit Cape Cod banyo serisine ilham kaynağı olmuştur.
