Barrier-free bathroom with KfW funding
KfW grant and promotional loan for accessible swimming pools

Wheelchair accessible
Barrier-free sink areas
Duravit offers four design options for the barrier-free sink area, enabling the bathroom to be designed so that everyone feels comfortable: the Vital models in the D-Code, DuraStyle, Architec and Starck 3 series meet the current DIN standards 18040-1 and 18040-2 for barrier-free bathrooms and are wheelchair accessible. A particularly practical feature of all models is the all-round rim, which makes it possible to pull yourself up to the basin.

For independent use
Disabled WCs
Barrier-free toilets are available in the Starck 3, DuraStyle and D-Code series. The projection of these WCs is 700 mm and ensures comfortable transfer and the most independent use possible in accordance with DIN 18040. Sufficient space in front of the toilet and fold-up support rails also ensure safety and comfort.

Up to slip resistance class B
Barrier-free showers
A floor-level shower tray is not only visually a perfect solution. It is also easy to clean and helps to prevent accidents caused by falling. Installed at floor level, the 1200 x 1200 mm shower trays Sustano (slip resistance class C), Stonetto (slip resistance class B) and Tempano (optionally with anti-slip coating) meet the criteria of standards 18025-1, 18025-2 and 18040-2E. This makes them suitable for wheelchair users.
