Phoenix Design

From frog to Phoenix. Even before Hartmut Esslinger's design studio became Frog Design, Andreas Haug was his first associate. Here, he also met Tom Schönherr. They got on famously and in 1987 appeared on the design horizon under the name of a fabled Egyptian creature. As Phoenix Product Design they from then on gave things their distinctive personal style. They produce classic designs for such clients as Lamy or Loewe and collect the most important design awards, such as the Lucky Strike Design Award: Europe’s most endowed design award.
